New Understanding on “the Only Son”: It Doesn’t Imply That God Is Male

The notion of God’s gender was deeply rooted in my heart.

I grew up in a Christian family. Every year when the Spring Festival came, my father would buy some calendars from the church, most of which were printed with the portrait of the Lord Jesus, so in my mind the Lord Jesus was a male. One day, my mother said, “There were some people coming to our church preaching the way of the last days. And they said that God has once again become flesh and come to do the work of salvation as a female. This is impossible.

Changing My Attitude to Break Son’s Bad Habit




My son’s problems emerged one after another.



When my son was 9, I found he had become addicted to playing video games and watching TV. Every day when he got home from school, he would throw his schoolbag aside, go to the living room, and begin to play games on the tablet. As soon as he started playing, he could not stop it. And if I had not called him to dinner, he would even have forgotten to eat.
